5 hours drive from Tamarindo to Santa Teresa by shuttle, later part of the road was pretty rough. I went through jungle and finally arrived Santa Teresa.
I heard a lot about hot girls in Santa Teresa( also met many hot girls who like Santa Teresa during this central america trip.) Actually, as I was told, there are many beautiful girls in town.
But As for accommodation and eat-out pricing, it stays the same as Tamarindo, so everything is still very expensive “Tourist” pricing. when I was eating out, it goes easily over $15-20 per meal. Ouch!
However, when smoking hot waitress came up to you and ask “What would you like to drink?”
It was hard to say “no” to those pretty faces and then end up paying $3 for beer.
Eating out was expensive in general in Santa Teresa but it was pretty good qualities.
Waves at Santa Teresa was better than what I expected. Beach break with scattered peaks, not too crowded. Furtherest to the left peak facing the beach was uncrowded and my favorite A frame peak as it got rock bottom and better breaks.
タマリンドからシャトルで５時間 後半はかなりの悪路、ジャングルの中を走りサンタテレサに来ました。
メキシコにいた時からサンタテレサは美人が多い(そして中米を旅している女子は大抵サンタテレサが好き、という人が多かったです。）という話をきいていたのですが、噂通り美人が多いです。美人が美人を呼ぶのでしょうか？
しかしながら物価についてはタマリンドプライスそのまんま、外食するとすぐに$15-20以上トンで行きます。かなり辛い。 でもレストランで可愛い女子のウェイトレスに
「飲み物は？」
と聞かれるとついついオーダーしてしまいます。（意志が弱い….） ビールで$3…. 痛い…..
しかしながら食事はどこも美味しかったです。値段だけあってレベル高し。
波についてはビーチブレイクでビーチも広くピークも分散するので、それほど混雑を意識することなくサーフィンできます。海を向いて左端だけがロックボトムでA フレーム でもそこが駐車場から一番遠いせいか一番すいています。だいたいここでサーフしてました。宿からはここが目の前なので超らくちん。
湘南よりもほれていてバレルになりやすいですが、潮が上げているときはかなり波が厚く、台風の時の湘南を思わせるような波でした。
しかしながらスウェルが来てダブルくらいのセットになるとクローズアウトやっぱりこの辺はビーチブレイクですが、バレルあり、混雑無し、ショルダーもミッドタイドでそれなりに張るので、思ってたより全然楽しめました。

お気に入りのスムージー屋さん MARACUYA。$４はちょっと高いけど美味しかったので良し
自分のお気に入りはHowler でOrange, Pinapple, Kiwiを混ぜてアイスクリームを加えたもの。
my favorite smoothie shop”MARACUYA” , bit expensive but its pretty good. I always order Howler which mix Orange Pinapple and Kiwi + ice cream.

お気に入りのイタリアン ストリートフード PRONTO（値段は決してストリートではなかったが）
やはりイタリア人オーナーのイタリアンのレベルの高さは異常 このサンドイッチで＄９しますがソーセージが美味し過ぎる
Never go wrong with Italian owned Italian restaurant in central america, this sandwich was $9 but worth it. yum!

ここではATVが日常の足として使われています。普通にサーフボード乗っけて移動してた。
ATV was everyday ride there. some put surfboard on ATV.
自分の移動手段はこれでした。ブレーキがついてないんだけど、車輪を逆方向に回転させるとブレーキになる。 誰も教えてくれなくて下り坂で死にかけました 笑
my ride, at the begging I could not figure out how to put a brake on as it does not have brake on handles. you just peddle the other way around to put a brake on.
街の中心部は結構栄えている
サンタテレサのビーチから街の中心部は少し距離があるので移動は自転車 ブレーキがついてないんですがペダルを反対側に動かす事でブレーキがききます。そんな仕組み知らなかったので最初の下り坂で恐怖のノーブレーキ….

Hotel Meli Melo $40/day, clean but many mosquitos like any other places as it is rainy season.
A couple of times I came across storms, but other than that, it was sunny weather most of the time there.
宿泊先 割と綺麗です。夜は蚊と格闘しましたが.. やはり雨期は蚊が多いよう $40/day
雨については時折ストームがありましたが、基本的には晴れています。１０月はざんざん降りらしいです。
作業スペース＆シエスタ用 hammock space.
宿のワンコ どこ行くのにもついてくるようになって、カワユスでした。ビーチが好きらしく、サーフィンにもついてきて犬飼いたくなった。 Dogs at hotel, so cute and following me everytime I hit the beach.
同じホテルに泊まっていて食事を御馳走してくれたOlson ファミリー Juliaのサーフィン熱が凄かった。 Olson family treated me dinner the other night. Julia was so stoked about surfing in central america, way to go Julia!!
Santa Teresaは夕日が綺麗です。サンセットサーフが気もちいい。Santa Teresa got beautiful sunset, nothing better than sunset surf there.

Just another day in Paradise! cute girls on the beach everyday! ビーチにはキュートな女子がわんさかいます。
さてこの後ですが、諸事情により一時帰国することになりそうです。マイルだと同じマイル数で東京でも北海道でも中米からいけるので、まだアパートは横浜にあるのですがとりあえず北海道に帰ります。
飛行機は乗り継ぎ含めてなんと約４０時間！ 考えると今から気分が悪くなりますが 笑、またアップデートします。
After Santa Teresa, I will go back home to cancel my apartment and etc. My flight will be over 40 hours in total to go back home. I would get sick of insanely long flight by just thinking about it. Hopefully, I will make it back in one piece!
