I moved to El Zonte from El Tunco by taxi, it took only 15 minutes.

At night, there is nothing to do around the area. Restaurant in hostel is over $10 bit expensive.
Hostel was $35/day with AC. We played pingpong a lot when waves are not good. My pingpong skill got so much better there.
There was only 2 hostel in El Zonte.
夜は全く周りになにもない。ホテル内のレストランは$10オーバーで高めだった。
宿はこんな感じ $35/day AC付 ピンポンがあったので練習してピンポンが上達した 笑
エルゾンテには２軒しかホステルありませんでした。
El Zonte waves are hollow and powerful break with cobble stone bottom. It will create barrel when waves is overhead and half.
Best tide was mid to high, but you have to be careful when getting out of the water at high tide as it can smash you to the wall.
You can surf all tide. At low tide, it will be quite shallow so you have to be careful.
Local said There used to be beach between shops and water.
But beach has been eroded a lot in last couple years and now there is almost no beach at all.
Here is the point to paddle out and come back.
波はというと掘れたパワフルなブレイク ボトムは玉石。頭半位でバレルになりました。
ベストタイドはミッドからハイタイド。ただしハイタイドの時は上がる時に注意しないと壁に叩き付けられる。オールタイドでサーフィン可能ですがロータイド時は逆にボトムの岩に注意しながらサーフしてました。
数年前より海岸が浸食されているみたい。 ここからエントリーしてここから上がる 注意が必要
It was most uncrowded surf during my time in El Salvador. It was 20-30 people at most and sometimes around only 10 people in line up.
There were many bodyboarders, but he is really one of a kind as he was standing on the bodyboard all the time. I never saw something like this.
Was it surfing or bodyboarding? I do not know but I was very impressed.
I saw him made a barrel and did aerial in one wave, and other surfers were cheering for him.
* Through friends facebook feed, I happened to know that he was a local legend “Sakundo”
ローカルもビジターもいたけど多くて２０ー３０人位 空いてるときで１０人程度で良かった。 正直エルサルバドルの中では一番空いていたと思う。
ボディボーダーが多くて 一人すごい上手い人がいたんだけどこの人は常に立ってライディングしていました。それってボディーボードじゃなくてサーフィンでは？ でもこんな乗り方できるんだと感心。しかしながら彼は特別に上手かったバレルライドからのエア決めたりしてて歓声があがってました。
※後にFacebookで友人がこの人はSakundoというローカルレジェンド だよということでした。
Magic Sea Weed forecast said there should be no wave on that day.
But it turn out to be very good, after I took this picture, it jacked up to overhead and half powerful break. There was a strong backwash too so it was bit difficult condition.
Those picture were taken before it gets better, so I can not show you how good it was.
MSWの予報では波ほぼ全く無いはずだったのですが、タイドが上がると同時にこの写真の後どんどんサイズアップして頭半位のパワフルなブレイクになりました。バックウォッシュも強くて割れる所を見極めるのが難しかった。
写真はかなり悪いコンディションの時のものなので良さが伝わらないと思います。すみません。

Many times I tried to make a barrel but could not make it all the way.
My face got smashed so strong to pumping wave shoulder that I felt dizzy.
But at least, I was able to set myself to barrels and enjoyed “Green Room” moments.
When you missed timing to set yourself to a barrel, thick wave lips will come at your face like heavy weight boxer punch.
何回もバレルに入ろうとしたり、入って、抜けきれないで顔面から波のフェイスに叩き付けられてクラクラしたけど、景色としてはグリーンルームをみれて良かったです。上手いローカルキッズはバレルメイクしてました。残念ながらここではバレルメイクはできなかった。
バレルに入るタイミングが外れると飛んでくる波のリップがヘビー級ボクサーのパンチに見えるという 笑
Big set created beautiful rippable wall.
But Those powerful wave was bit too much for Andy, a guy I came here with from El Tunco as he was a beginner. And he started getting bored with El Zonte.
I wanted to stay bit longer to make a barrel though,
we decided to move back to El Tunco after spending 2 days in El Zonte.
Next, I will go to Las Flores/Punta Mango known for high quality waves!
In search of perfect and uncrowded waves……
デカセットは最高に綺麗なウォールを作ってくれました。
しかしEl Tuncoから一緒に移動したバックパッカーのアンディがとてもじゃないけど全く乗れない＆波があがるとアウトできない。
「なんかダンダン、エルサルバドルにいるのが嫌になってきた」
と言われたので罪悪感からたった２泊でエルツンコに戻ることにした。もう少しいたかった。（バレルメイクしたかった）
そして２泊した後はエルサルバドルNo.1ブレイクとの噂もある Las Flores & Punta Mangoへ移動 することに ガラガラのスーパーブレイクを求めて……..
