I, Adam, Hannah and Jack, 4 of us left Pascuales in the afternoon and head to La Ticla in infamous Michoacan.
パスクアレスクを離れ、アダム、ハナ、ジャック、自分の４人でいよいよミチョカン州はLa Ticlaを目指します。
We are bit nervous when crossing the bridge as Hannah’s friend had been robbed and gun-pointed at them before in the area.
どきどきしながら橋を通過、なんでもハナの友人が銃強盗に以前La Ticlaであったそうでちょっとナーバス。
Just before the bridge, there was a military check-point. We were stopped by military all of sudden, and they speaking fast and loud but I had no clue about what they said and worried about the situation. Then, Hannah came in for help as she can speak decent spanish and translated for us. According to Hannah translation, we should go over those speed bumps more slowly. I was driving at 30km but it was too fast by their standard. I will make sure super-slow drive from next time.
手前にはミリタリーチェックポイント（軍の検問）。突然停車させられ、なにやらまくしたてているがスペイン語が全然ダメな自分。ハナが少し喋れるので通訳してもらう。３０キロくらいで検問所のスピードバンプを超えたのがいけなかったらしい、もっとゆっくりなでるように走行しろとのこと。ジープだったのでなんともないので普通に通過してしまった。次回から気をつける。

It was 2 hours drive from Pascuales.. such a beautiful small town.
Wave was beautifully peeling. I was able to see this view first thing in the morning everyday as we stayed in family owned cabbana along the river.
そして走る事２時間ちょっとLa Ticlaに到着。美しい小さな村です。
そして波の方はというと、きっちり割れてる！パーフェクトなAフレーム！
朝起きると川添いなので同時にこの光景が見れます。

夜明け、朝一でのバレルショット（サーファー不明）
La Ticla, cobble stone bottom. river mouth break. this place has two breaks, main break is right and the other break at the other side of river is Left. Left is mellower long break. Right is powerful, hollow break and create barrel often.
We checked in cabana and went into the water. My elbow hurt bad from the injury at Pascuales but I tried to surf this beautiful wave anyways. And first wave I took was overhead,clean face but closed-out in middle section, then in the moment I wiped out, my leash came off with the wave. I ended up swimming back to the shore in powerful waves. my board washed up to cobble stone shore but miracly there is no serious ding on my board. Then I changed my leash to new one and jumped back into the water. But my elbow hurt bad and I could not paddle strongly, I was too slow to catch good set with this elbow on that day.

レフトは少しメローで乗り易い。日本人は好きだと思います。
ライトは乗り出しからきっちり掘れてバレルになります。相当パワフル。
早々に宿（バンガロー）を決めて パスクアレスでやられた肘の痛みを我慢しながら入水。
そして一発目 頭オーバーくらいのサイズのきれいな波GET ミドルセクションでクローズしてきてワイプアウトしたと思った瞬間。「リーシュが外れた！」 目の前から次々と頭オーバーのパワフルな波がせまってくるなか、必死に岸まで泳ぐ、無惨に板は打ち上げられたけど、奇跡的に軽いヘコミですんだ。リーシュを交換して再トライ。
やっぱりこの左腕の状態だと良い波は取れない（ドルフィンも肘が痛くてできない）、掘れていて早い波だしフルパドルが必要。

After surf chilling アフターサーフ
I got smashed to palm tree in the river mouth and my back got sliced bit. I am so glad that I was wearing a jacket. When you can not paddle 100% with elbow injury, that’s what you get.
サイズが上がった日に河口の流木（ヤシの木）に叩きつけられて背中がボロボロ。タッパ着てて本当に良かった。ちゃんとプルアウトしたのは良かったけど、そこからデカセット３連発でインサイドに引きずり込まれてやられました。危なかった！フルパドルできないとこういうことになるという教訓

My favorite shot walking toward beach. The town was very peaceful and I could not believe that it was dangerous place.
Jack broke both his 2 boards that he brought from home. One board got fin box broke and the other almost snapped. He went back to Pascuales to get those fixed.
お気に入りのショット ３人衆
行ってみれば街自体は極めて平穏で、危険な街だったということが信じられないくらいです。
ジャックはもってきた板２本とも早々に見事に破壊 フィンボックスも壊れて、板も半分に折れかけて散々になってリペアのためにパスクアレスクに戻っていきました。
ジャックの自作ボード6.4のものをぶったぎって5.9にしたそうです。ジャックは１８５センチ以上ある大男ですがこんなでかい奴でも、この板でこんな波せめれるんだと感心

I was impressed by that Jack, big guy around 6.2 and heavy, can ride this much short board in this powerful wave.
I extended my stay and was there for a week, everyday 2 times surf, beautiful wave with just friends. Some said it is trestle wave -200 people. We went to La Placita beach as well, 10 minute drive from La Ticla and it was completely private session. After getting into Michoacan, There were many nobody surf point on the way, some beach was completely empty, no foot prints.
Next, We will head to famous left, RIO NEXPA.
La Ticlaは滞在が長引いて１週間いました。毎日２ラウンド 波よすぎ、ほぼ貸切。アメリカ人にいわせると、Trestles にそっくりだそうです。ただしTrestles -200人っていうのが笑った。
ここのメインビーチ以外でも近くの街 La placitaのビーチとかでもサーフィンしましたが完全貸切。
ミチョカンに入った後はnobody surf ポイントだらけ、サーフどころかビーチそのものに誰も人がいないポイントが無数に点在しています。
次はレフトで有名なRio Nexpaを目指します！
